Remarks

College is okay in my view but they thinks education is just about getting good marks i am totally against it i want physical and mental involvement with the subjects that i learn i need opportunities where i can express my talents. My college doesn't provide that much opportunities

Entrance Preview

Keam entrance examination, well i chose computer science because i was fascinated by machines mainly computers and wanted to study more

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well course curriculum is very strong but it is a bit heavier most of the students finds it hard to cope up with. Some brainy from MIT made our syllabus well it is well made but with the current resources i am not sure everyone will pass. Well thats most of it curriculum is great but not suited for students in management colleges

Internships Opportunities

Well my college doesn't provide any internship well not anything amazing i suppose. I mean they do not have much companies under their wings we students find internship by ourselves most of the times. Companies suggested by our college is not so good

Placement Experience

3

Well that's the tricky part, they say they have around 90% placement and all but most of the companies are not product based companies they are just service based so what we are learning in this 4 years is wasted by doing something we are not interested to do

College Events

3

Technical fest are done every year by each department or all of them combined. ASTHRA is most famous. Cultural fests are also done every year well management allows a little fund to conduct programs and it is difficult to find any sponsor's. And thus we gave to compromise on most of the eventa

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is okay not that expensive. 75000 rs a year for fee and a 10000 for college bus transportation fees and again a 10000 for other expenses like pta fund, wifi fees etc.. most of the students find it feasible well then again there are some students who have enough money to provide the fees well management allows exception to most of them so fees is nit an issue

Fees and Financial Aid

Well college offers a good loan facility by providing loan from canara bank for every student. It is very convenient for all because instant loan is provided to all easily at the time of admission

Campus Life

4

Campus life is okay nothing to write home about. Gender ratio is about equla in most of the department except mechanical department. College only focus on classes most of the students have to skip every other events to attend classes. Physical education and sports is poor as most of the faculties think they are unnecessary

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is good there is enough room for everyone. Food is okay for most of the days. Rooms are shared mostly by 3 students. So plenty of room for everyone and electricity is available 24 hrs so no worries. Rental fees is about 3000 a month along with food well it varies with the food they provide not that expensive

Alumni/Alumna

Not that much alumni network is not that strong yeah our college does had some good students who excelled in academics and got great jobs but after that most of them just dropped all the contacts. Some of the seniors are very good in helping us with resources and helps us in technical events but most of them are show-offs who think they own the college and drives the cars or bikes their parents bought them and let me tell you they all are god damn proud of it

Exam Structure

Well exam structure is okay they are scheduled to give us some time to prepare. It is enough for most of the people. Exams are conducted in a well balanced manner without putting extra load on our shoulder . There are 6 subjects in each semester and allbof them contains 6 modules each so it takes lots of time to prepare so the University gives enough time to prepare

Admission

Well i got admission according to my entrance rank result. All the students who wanted admission were called up along with their parents and they had a meeting just to introduce the college and then they handed out forms well most of em fell for it including my parents

Faculty

3

We have a rich faculty resource. But they are not used well most of the classes are handled by less experienced teachers well i know in college you don't expect to get everything easily but there is a real problem behind it before students are forced to join engineering colleges they had a pretty easy life i mean the state syllabus in kerala provides easy marks they all score well but at college its a different story.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably
