Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this branch as it has a very good scope for future and it is a sub-branch of Computer Science and Engineering. There is a single faculty for approximately 150 students. All the faculties are well qualified from renowned institutes like IIT. There is a midsem exam and an end-sem exam. The difficulty level was moderate.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkle, etc. offer internships to students in-campus and provide very good opportunities to students. The stipend varies for different companies. The highest stipend is given by Sprinkle.

Placement Experience

From the 4th year, students become eligible for placement and from 3rd year students get internship opportunities. The highest package was 82 LPA made by Atlassian. The average package was 24 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon visit the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 86,000 per semester and it costs approximately 3-3.5 lakh including all expenses per year. The placement statistics are mind-blowing. The average package was around 24 LPA. Internships are also provided in-campus by renowned companies.

Campus Life

Synapse is the annual fest and it is one of the largest techno-cultural fests in Gujarat. It is conducted in March. We have an excellent Resource Center. All classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, PC, etc. There is a dedicated Sports committee amongst others and there are many hobby-driven clubs like music clubs, dance clubs, drama clubs, etc.

Hostel Facilities

One chair, one table, one bed and one cupboard. There is no mess but there are 7 canteens. The food quality is good. The canteens serve South Indian, Punjabi, etc cuisine food. The hostel fees are 26,000 per semester.

Admission

I took admission through ACPC, which consists of 50% board PCM percentile and 50% gujcet percentile. You can apply through the website www.gujacpc.org. The process consists of choice filling of various branches in various colleges.

DAIICT's review

In the front section I mentioned I got BITs Hyderabad, BITs mersa, Nirma and other colleges below the ranking of mine. I choose this college so as to stay near home town and it had very good placements compared to others. While BITs Hyderabad is better than DAIICT, it is too costly. I got rejected from IITs as my JEE Adv rank was 22k and you need 5k for a really good IIT with your preferred choice. Admission in DAIICT is via JEE main or ACPC. I am preparing for jee i got decent rank in both mains and advanced. Rank in mains is 8100 and Advanced is 8779 but as of genroul catagory it's very good to get good college and branch at same time. DA-IICT review (2021 - 2025)

At 12.7k AIR in JEE '21 , I was getting SVNIT ECE, IIIT Gwalior 5 year course and NIT Patna CSE. Chose this because of the proximity and good placements statistics. Got rejection from IIIT B, my dream college. Couldn't make it because the cutoff shot high that year. Admission process is just submitting your JEE Score and apply through their website.
