Review - IIIT Vadodara

The course curriculum is well-designed and all the faculty members are very well-educated. They teach well. All faculties are highly qualified. The term exams are moderate (sometimes difficult ).

Students can apply for both off-campus internships and on-campus internships through the institute. Companies including Amazon, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs provide good internship opportunities for students.

72 companies visited in the year 2022-23 including some big names like Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Adobe, Matlab and so on. The overall highest package offered is 41 LPA and the avg package is 15.73 LPA while the median package is 13.5 LPA. In the ongoing placements, currently, 90.65% of interested students got placed.

The tuition fee is currently 105000 per semester. The fee will remain the same for the batch, however, it is expected that the sum total would increase by 10% every year. There is no fee waiver for any category of students. They can opt for an NSP scholarship or a respected state scholarship.

There is no permanent campus of the institute. However, it runs in temporary college GEC, Gandhinagar. The classrooms are good. Labs are equipped with air conditioners. Talking about extracurricular activities, near the hostel premises various sports can be played including cricket, football, volleyball, etc. There are many clubs and activities also.

Hostels are well maintained. It is a flat system. You will get 1 table, 1 chair, 1 bed and a cupboard. The meal quality in the mess is also good compared to others. The fees are about 36,000 for the hostel and 18,800 for the mess per semester.

The admission can be done after JEE Mains exam. In the rounds of Josaa counselling, I opted for this institute. The counselling begins after the exam and you can apply for it. The eligibility for the course of CSE and IT ranges between 11,000 to 24,000 CRL.
