Course Curriculum Overview

I preferred to choose computer science and engineering branches over other engineering branches. What I felt till now is the curriculum here is not so CSE-based as there are other subjects like physics, and electronic circuits to study. we have enough faculty and faculty: the student ratio is 1:20. The faculties are well qualified from iits and other top institutes. As I'm in the first semester that's why I have no idea about exams n all.

Internships Opportunities

Talking about on-campus internship opportunities so it gets started after completion of the 4th semester that is from the 3rd year. And off campus, we can get it in 2nd year too. A good percentage of students grab the internships.

Placement Experience

The placement of IIIT vadodara is so impressive and increasing every year. The average placement for last year was around 16.8 lacs, median was 13.5 and the highest on campus was 44lac and 1.02cr off campus. Almost every eligible student gets placed last year the percentage was 97. something and before that it was continuously 100%. Placements are so good here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this institute is a little high. On average, you will require 3 lacs per year including hostel mess and all. You can also get scholarships from the central government or your respective State board. One very impressive thing about this institute is it's placement which is very good on campus and off campus.

Campus Life

IIIT Vadodara don't have its own campus but still college life is not that bad. We get good peers and seniors are also very cool and supportive. They guide us in any way for any query. Here we have 0% ragging which is very impressive. We have so many different clubs like literature club, cultural club, academics and so many clubs including in these. So overall it is fun to be here.

Admission

Admissions to our institute are based. It accepts only JEE mains percentile. The cut-off varies from 97-98 percentile for obc and general and even lower for girls and other categories like SC ST. There is a website of our institute where all the information is provided.

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.

I took jee mains exams in 2023. I was preparing from fitjee Delhi. I took the exam for the January session. My percentile was 96.4. Later decreased to 92.
