Course Curriculum Overview
I want to choose this course because the scope of this course in future is very high and the competition in this course was very keen as it was newly added in btech. The faculty member of the college is good but small. The ratio of students is good like 1:2. The qualification of the teachers is quite good and they are very friendly and supportive in nature. In one year you have to give 4 exams out of which 2 are end sem and 2 are mid sem. The difficulty of the exams is a little above medium.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is good. The average package you can get is about 4-5 Lpa and the highest package in my field is 15Lpa. But the highest package was 45Lpa from ECE. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Infosys and others arrived at this college for placements. After getting I will do the job for a few years then I will start an online business or a startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for the 4-year course are about 5L. It is sikh minority college so if you belong to sikh minority then you can get admission to GTBIT with any rank up to 8L also. They also provide scholarships to OBC, ST and SC groups of people.
Campus Life
Life on the campus is not good as I feel. The campus of the college is very small. The infrastructure is also not good. But the social life is good but not up to that level. The atmosphere is quite friendly. They do not organise any fest so you have to go to other colleges. There is no sports ground so you have to play within the college area. But they provide extracurricular activities like sports, dances, and singing.
Admission
The admission was done through JEE rank and if you ranked under the rank of any branch then you will able to join that college. The cutoff of my branch in GTBIT was about 1.5 L. The application form was available online you have to fill out that form if you want to take admitted to any college of IPU and after that, you have you fill out another form after jee exam results. I want to make some improvements in the admission process like submission of documents online in pdf form and payment of fees should be both cash and online payment
