Decent internship offers

I am pursuing chemical engineering because I like chemistry as a subject. The faculty to student intereaction is easy as you can approach them directly and the ratio of faculty to students is around 1:70 in my batch. All the faculty are well-equiped with the knowledge of their respective fields as all of them are pHD's fot IIT's and NIT's. One year is roughly divided in two semsters, and in each semester there are minor exams in two months. The difficulty of the exams are moderate to tough.

Students are eligible for internships in 3rd year or 6th semester. Many companies offer internships at our campus ex- amazon. microsft, triology, bpcl, reliance, jubliant, goldman sachs. The project alloted are confidential to the eligible students, but tech companies mostly offer sde roles

Students becomes eligible for campus placemencts in 7th semester. A vast no. of companies visit the campus ex-amazon, adobe, goldman sachs, delloite, trident, reliance, vedanta, flipkart, and many more. At the end of the placement season approx 80% students are placed. The highest package was offered by amazon of 1.2 crore and the average package is around 20 lakhs

For B.Tech at NITJ the expenses ranges from 8-10 lakhs for general category. Though there are no scholarships provided, but loans are available through the banks present in the campus. There are no job on campus with stipends.

The overall life at the campus is good. There are two annual fest at the college one is a cultural fest called UTKANSH held in the month of march and one is technical fest called TECHNITI held in moth of february. Books are easily available in the library as there are minimum of three copies of each book and e-books as well. The classroom are full air conditioned and equiped with smartboards. There are many different sports facility in the campus like gym, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, indoor badminton court, atheletics, table tennis and lawn tennis. Apart from sport there are many socities/clubs like for photography-NETRA, for dance-SI CREW, for art and craft-FAS, robotics

Fan, cupboards, bed, mirror are provided in every rooms, and the rooms are proprly ventilated. The quality of meal at mess is average, sometimes good and sometimes not but overall quality is good. Three time meal is provided in the mess + 1 evening snack which is optional. The hostel room and mess cost 8000+25000 for one semester.

To appear for the admission process you have too score a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 and clear 10th, this makes you eligible to appear for jee mains. After the entrance exam, the cuttoff marks is declared. Then you can apply for counselling through JOSAA wherein depending upon your rank and preference you are alloted branch and college.
