Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because as the semiconductor industry going to boom between 2022-2030 so there will be more jobs available. faculty to student ratio is around 1:20 .all the faculty are PhD and above degree qualified. review the teaching of faculty is excellent. there will be two exams one is mid-term in which you will easily pass but in the end term, there will be some difficulty in passing

Internships Opportunities

yes, many companies came in march for an internship like Qualcomm and Samsung and the synopsis with a stipend of around 50-60k per month and placement season starts in July then there will company like BEL HP and many more that offer a great package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is around 40-55k per semester and there will be two semesters in a year there is some scholarship run by govt of India for weaker sections of society . yes, I have gate qualified so I am getting a stipend of 12500/month.

Campus Life

campus life is great as there will be a cultural fest in which this year Shreya gosal came and a technical fest is held every month in the different club that is run by students. the library is open 24 hrs so you can available books anytime

Hostel Facilities

so I am doing mtech I am living in a single room and the quality of the mess id okay type as it is located in Kerala so the northern part of food is made very rarely. the registration process is very simple when you come to nitc the first time then you have submitted the hostel form to administration and they will allot room on that basis.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

I have given gate exam in 2021 and I got a rank of around 2000 after I take part in counselling of ccmt there in the third round of counselling I get that branch. yes, I have availed the reservation of obc and the fee of the counselling process is around 1000-3000 depending on whether you sit for the spot round or not.

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

from 2nd semester onwards, students are eligible for the internships and placements. In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut.
