Entrance Preview

I got admission through JEE mains and i chose NSIT since it's among the top engineering colleges in India.Admission was through the online portal of JAC two years back and the process was more or less smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

"COE course includes core, humanities and IT subject along with general physics and mathematics.

Placement Experience

opportunities are in abundance, but management by the college (special mention of the top) is probably the worst. These people believe in blindly following their *rules* (senseless most of them it seems).

"moksha - annual cultural fest. Innovision - annual tech fest official freshers resonance ps. there is no surety of having all or any of the events every year :)"

Exam Structure

difficulty level is good. results on time is a myth.

Faculty

some of the faculty members are *really* good, but a few are there, esp the Ph.D. and m.tech faculty (seems like they are forced to teach subjects way beyond their understanding) who bring the entire level down.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think course curriculum was good. Each semester has 20 credit. There are 5 days classes a week. There are 2 month of summer vacation and around 1 month of winter vaccination. When a semester start mid term exam is just after 1.5 month after and end term after 4 month.

Our college has shaped many careers!!

Placement Experience:

Many core companies come here as capital goods and defence sector is where our expertise and teaching takes us to. It's the majority of IT names that comes but I am or rather no one should look beyond their core branch otherwise there's no point is what I feel. Averages have suddenly gone up as currently as per the substrata of last 3-4 years it stands at 7.5 lakhs a year.

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

Definitely from the last year only as before that only internships are provided. Most students get placements as defining percentage won't be easy. I want to do M.Tech from IITs and that's one of my goals.

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More

I didn't apply to any other college as I wanted to enter NSUT. Admission process of my college is through JEE mains exam. 95+ percentile for good branches but it depends on categories as well. The admission gets done by JAC counsil whoch consists of 4-5 colleges....Read More
