i chose mechanical as my goal was always to be a civl servant and not a mnc puppy mechanical engineering was not my desired branch i wanted ece so badly but being a general candidate in this country is as tough as being a boy in a female parlour but never the less whatever happens its for the good engineering me ratio bhi badhiya hai inka 1:5 i.e. one girl to 5 boys faculty and teachers of this college are highly qualified individuals and they are very polite in every aspect of teaching. exams are mains mid sems and endsems along with 2 class tests held in every semester and as far as difficulty is concerned it always depends on the examinee and how much he/she had studied for it but as far as as i am concerned exams are mostly based on what the teachers are teaching during the class so if one is attentive in the class during lectures he/she will be good to score decent marks in exams.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 209000 per year

Internships Opportunities

many companies like uber ola sprinkler altassian google microsoft and many more offers jobs as well as internship opportunities in our college for instance uber gave 2lakh/month internship in our college along with a ppo for sde in their comapny and many more companies like this exist in our college

Placement Experience

students are available for campus placements from 5th semester itself i am talking about internships many of our fellow batchmates has also cracked gsoc( the scholarship test conducted by google in march every year)

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is acceptable considering a college of this level and its definitely worth it including the infrastructure and teaching style labs and all o ther co curricular things taken inti cinsideration> in order to educate economically weaker section as well as other under privileged kids college provides different types of scholarships and all completely merit based .

Campus Life

college also organises different kinda fests including sports fest (agastya) cultural fest (moksha and resonanz) and tech fest ( nsut thon ) in all the fests students get a chance to compete with each other as well as students of different colleges

Admission

To become a part of this prestigious college one must clear the joint entrance examination profoundly known as jee mains and secure a rank under 30000 (if you are from unreserved/general category) to get a decent branch. application form and every other formality will be done on the jac delhi website itself and further directions are provided by the university itself reservation always plays as a privilege for selection in any college across India. all of the admission process is smooth and quite convinient one must not worry about any kind of bhaga-daudi.

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
