Course Curriculum Overview

A BTech degree can lead to a variety of rewarding career paths in fields such as technology, engineering, and computer science. BTech programs often emphasize hands-on learning and real-world experience, giving students practical skills they can apply in their future careers. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:5. All faculty members are doctorates in their specific fields. Their way of teaching gives students a clear understanding of the topics. There are two mid-term exams of 24 marks each and end-semester exams.

Placement Experience

Placements in Chandigarh Group of Colleges are good. The average package offer is 7 lakhs. The highest package offered is 45 lakhs to the ECE student by Amazon. Placements start at the end of the 6th semester. There are many companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, DXC, Cognizant, Wipro, Bosch, etc. There are about 7-8 placement offers to each student. About 85% of students got placements and the other 15% thought of higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is about 3.8 lakhs for B.Tech programs. The fees remain the same throughout the program. Additional examination fees are to be paid for the examination. Students of SC/ST can available scholarship schemes. Also, there are minority scholarships.

Campus Life

Parivartan is the biggest fest organized in the campus which goes for 2 days. Famous singers give performances and students enjoys. Apart from this,there is an event from different courses at every day. There is central library in ECE block-1. There are many books and journals available for every courses. There are about 15000-16000 books for specific Branches. Also, students can surf through the digital library as well. There is also an annual sports meet organized within the campus. There are many clubs run by students like Electronics Project Club, Google Developer Club,etc.

Admission

Admission is given based upon the 12th percentage and jee mains score. You can also take admission through ptu counseling. The admission application form is available at the www.cgc.edu.in . You can also contact us for inquiries regarding admission 24/7.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.
