Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty of the college is of Ph.D. level and with good industrial experience. which is very helpful for us. The college faculty motivates us to take part in extra-curricular activities and provides us with full assistance during the research activity. The faculty of the college is very friendly.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is 80000 per year. The cost of computer science engineering is about 670000. and core branch fees are a little bit less. I applied for an NSP scholarship. No, I am in my first year so I don't get a job.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted every year. After the semester in the month of February, it is conducted. The library is very big and all types of books are present in the library. Sports clubs and ground is also available for different types of sports. This type of thing helps the student to learn a lot of things.

Admission

Taking admission to the course is through wbjee Or jee mains. Direct admission is also provided by the college with extra money. After wbjee there is a counseling session. For direct admission, you can come to the college. And 12 pass with 45% is a must.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

I applied to plenty of state engineering colleges and only made it to UIT, BU which has awful facilities and a good ragging culture. So I opted out and went to a private college. Among private colleges, as far as I know, WB, IEM and Heritage are considered to be better. IEM's strict uniform code, zero campuses made me choose Heritage over IEM. The admission process is 1) Through West Bengal Joint counselling, which I went through, 2) Management Quota. I have also applied in other states college like satyabhama of Chennai by giving the entrance and JEE mains for NIT and IIT and I have also give the webjee exam my score is quite good and and I have chosen this college over other colleges because of its number one college in the West Bengal and it have quite good campus comparison to others West Bengal colleges. My JEE score was not that good and my webjee score is quiet good so I prefer the college that is best comes with my score.
