I chose this course for experiencing altogether growth of my personality and polish my managerial skills. The faculty of this college is highly educated, they are very approachable in case of any doubts you have about career making. They're very helpful and cooperative. They're highly educated and knowledgeable. Many of them are IIM graduate that shows kind of skills and experience in a specific field. We have our mid-term after a month of semester commencement. and then after a month, we have our semester exams. In short in the year we have two midterms and 2 sems.

The faculty help us with acquiring internships. Even the placement cell provides us with internship links via LinkedIn, Internshala, etc. Some are unpaid and some are paid. Some faculty members also provide paid internships in their own startups. Stipends usually range from 5000- 30000.

Placement in this college is very good. Once you get into the pre-final year you become eligible for the placements. There is a placement cell that calls HRs of different companies for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Byjus, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Deloitte, Capgemini, and Amul. Accenture, has different government employers as well. For MBA the highest package is 12lac pa, the least is lac pa and the average is 10 lac pa.

It charges around 500000 for the whole course duration. It includes mess charges of 20000 and other miscellaneous charges like medical, extracurricular activities, clubs, functions, events, etc. There is also a provision of financial aid that requires your family income details. There is also a specific scholarship for different communities based on merit and income. The placement cell works tremendously well for bringing good placements with a considerable package.

There are many clubs here to engage the students here personally like Synergy, Business, Euphony, Matrix, TEDx, Cosmopolitan, Cinematics, Mavericks, Cognizen, etc. It is the students who lead the clubs and conduct every event. This is such a happening place. We had here the biggest fest of the east zone wherein there were students from colleges all over the world. Then we had a cosmo multi-ethnic fest to showcase the diversity of culture on campus. There is a mega event called NITRUTSAV for all the cultural experiences.

The rooms can be allocated for two seated rooms or single seated rooms. There are many hostels for boys and girls and also for married students named after greatest of the scientists. The meal is of good quality. The canteens are open in both day and night at affordable prices.

I had appeared for the CMAT exam. Within a month I got my result and I had scored 89 percentile. Then onwards I kept on searching for different colleges for MBA programs. I visited NIT Rourkela's official site and I applied for the course. then after the ending date, I got a mail about being shortlisted for the GD/PI round. The date and time were provided in the email about the interview. I appeared for the GD along with other students then it was time for a personal interview. It hardly took 15 mins. Then after 15 days or so the results were announced and got the mail for selection.

A group was made for the GD and interview round . Our topic was 'Startup booming in India'. Everybody got 5 min to speak on it and then at last we had discussion. Then individually our PI was taken by the professors themselves about our educational background, about why we chose to go for MBA, some current topics related my graduation area and about my future planning,etc.
