Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for PGPBA subjects is more technology-intensive. An engineering background in Computer Science is preferable for a better understanding of the subjects. The teaching method is mostly based on cases and sourced datasets. Every term has a mid-term exam and an End term. It can vary based on the subjects. Generally, there are projects, assignments, and class participation components also.
Internships Opportunities
EY BCPI - 1 lakh/month, Kearney Consulting - 1.5 lakh/month, McKinsey - 1.5 lakh/month, Accenture IMU and Accenture CN - 2 lakhs/month, KPMG - 1.25 lakh/month, Projects span across multiple domains like finance, engineering, and hospitality for major consulting firms. It depends on your past work ex as well as interest.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are 100% for both summer internships and final placements. The highest package crosses 70 lakhs and avg is 31 lakhs. Companies mainly offer roles for consulting, product management, investment banking, investment relations, general management and marketing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each term fee is about 455000. Scholarships are need-based. Only a few merit-based scholarships. There is a financial aid form circulated at the start of the term. Extensive documents are required for eligibility. Final scholarships are assigned based on interviews with the students.
Campus Life
Libraries and classroom amenities are quite satisfactory. All the books and study material is included in the tuition fees and is provided by the college at the start of the term. Sports facilities include badminton, basketball, TT, Lawn tennis, football, hockey, etc. These are well-maintained and accessible till 10 pm. Many clubs exist such as consulting clubs, finance clubs, entrepreneurship clubs, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Single room occupancy is provided. Facilities in the room include a cupboard, study table and bed with mattress. However there are common washrooms (say 4-5 washrooms/ 8 rooms). Mess meal quality is okayish. Few options on campus for eatables.
Admission
Admission was based on CAT score and overall profile. Weightage is given to work, past academic scores, and other achievements. The process involved a WAT test and a Personal interview. Based on the composite score of these final calls were given out.
Interview Experience
There was a written test and personal interview. The topic for WAT was Personal Liberity and our responsibility wrt vaccination. Interviews were based on mainly work ex and qs on why mba and what are my career goals.
