DTU THE ULTIMATE LIFE

THE ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL OF DTU ARE ITS OLDEST BRANCHES. HOWEVER, THE CURRICULUM CHANGES FROM TIME TO TIME. WE HAVE A VERY NICE FACULTY HERE. ALMOST EVERY PROFESSOR IS PH.D. FROM SOME IIT OR ARE PURSUING PH.D. FROM SOME OR OTHER IIT. THE GENDER RATIO AMONG STUDENTS IS VERY POOR. WE HAD ONLY 4 GIRLS AMONG 74 STUDENTS IN THE FIRST YEAR. EXAMS ARE RELATIVELY EASIER WHEN COMPARED TO JEE MAINS. ONE CAN PASS THE EXAM EVEN BY STUDYING FOR A WEEK BEFORE THE EXAM SERIOUSLY

Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, arcesium, directi, etc visit campus for hiring interns around the end of July and finish their process by August. There is an online coding round first followed by 2-3 technical interviews and an HR round. The average stipend here is above 50k. So a nice opportunity to do a good internship here

Students start getting internships in their third year but they can even get them in the second year if they have the relevant knowledge. Almost every big tech company visits campus for placements be it google Microsoft Rapido etc. The highest package goes more than 1 crore but this is an international package. The average package of all the branches altogether should be around 13-14 lakhs per annum. 2200 of 2500 students were placed in 2022.

Nothing as of now. I am in my first year and have not applied for any scholarship. The fee here is 224000 INR annually. However many students get fee waivers where they get some part of their fees back.

THE BEST LIFE ONE CAN LIVE IS ON DTU CAMPUS. IT IS THE MOST CHILL COLLEGE IN DELHI. MANY FESTS ARE HELD HERE, THE MOST FAMOUS ENGIFEST IS HELD AROUND THE MID OF FEB. ALSO, A TECH FEST IS ALSO HELD AROUND THE SAME TIME. THE LIBRARY IS HUGE, HAVING 3 FLOORS HAVING MORE THAN ENOUGH BOOKS FOR ONE TO READ

The locality does not give that of a society kind of vibe. It is more on the rural side. There are many PGs, hotels, and flats. Almost every PG includes food in the rent they charge. For those renting a flat, mess are also available. Overall one can live there, not that bad of an area

One needs to crack JEE Mains Exam in order to get admission into Btech at DTU. In my case, I am pursuing electrical engineering from DTU, and I got 94.8 percentile in JEE mains. There is some reservation for the economically weaker section. 10% of the seats are reserved for them. I belong to that category hence I got admission through the reserved quota. For a general student, one must score at least 96 .5 percentile to get admitted to DTU. THE APPLICATION FORM OF JEE MAINS WAS FOR 600 RS
