Course Curriculum Overview

My course is a BA program(eco+his) and I chose this course as I want to give govt. Exams after graduation. The faculty is fine and the students is every class is around 30-36. The teaching method is also good as notes are given on every subject. Exams are still not held as we are first-year students.

Internships Opportunities

Saksham society is the society that provides internship opportunities to students in their final year. Annually it is around 3-3.5 lakhs and jobs are also given based on internships. Projects are run by societies like CDF and enacts.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course is 12275 rupees and it is hiked from last year as it was around 7000 last year. I live in a hostel and my monthly expenditure is around 10000 so it's a bit costly for me overall. I don't know much about any scholarships but yes there are scholarships available.

Campus Life

Till now no fest is held in the evening college but 2 fests of different societies are held in the morning and I've attended one of them. The library is good and big and books are available for use. Sports like volleyball, kabaddi, and cricket are available in college, and debates, poster making, etc are also held. CDF, enactus, finova, are the societies available to join.

Admission

Eligibility of the course was 10+2 and of any stream. The application was given on csas Portal and the fee was around 200 for the exam. The exam was held in 2 phases and a fee waiver was there for reserved students CUET process was good but it took too much time and admissions were late, many students faced problems due to center change.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there.
