Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I like botany very much so I selected botany for my graduation from Calicut university. There are so many facilities for my study. The student-faculty ratio is about 30:1. the faculties must have Ph.D. The exam was conducted semester-wise. There are 2-semester exams in a year. It is easy to pass when we study hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is only a little bit of fee to pay, when we are takes admission through merits. But when we take a seat through management it ranges from 25000-30000.there are a lot of scholarships like post-metric, ch scholarship, and grand to help students.

Campus Life

4.5

The college conduct arts day, sports meet, college union inauguration, association day, etc.. the large library in the college provides the best study material, and also there is plenty of journals, novels, and other books. The college supports all extracurricular activities and also conducts so many programs for this purpose. There are a lot of social groups on Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram. natural club, science club, music club, etc run by students

Admission

I applied online on the university's official website. the admission process started for ug courses was 28 July 2014. for application, the student must have studied English, physics, chemistry, and biology at an intermediate level. The minimum range of percentage required for the exam is 50-60%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Remarks:

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.
