Course Curriculum Overview

The best I can get on my rank is ECE so I choose it .....Btw in starting you will regret but later on, you don't have to... ECE is among the top branches and also you will have better exposure to other things which you will realize later ... Some faculty members came to teach and they are good but some faculty (the majority) don't mind whether you study or not and some come only to complete the syllabus

I am a fresher, so I don't know much about internships But as I get to know there are many internship programs held and companies come for internships. Students also prepare for GSOC and competitive programming and other related stuff.

Placement Experience

In terms of placement, the college had a good reputation. As I hadn't experienced it but I get to know about this. Placement stats are around 95 %. Many reputed companies for placement visited this year providing interns and jobs. the average package is around 18 lakh depending on the respective branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fees ....the fees are high if considering government college ....it's around 2,20,000 per year and it increases around 10 percent yearly. Many scholarships are available at college and also government provides scholarships or financial assistance for people with low family income and the reserved category. You can be among the top 5% of the students to get a 100% scholarship from the college.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. You have many things to do on campus with your friends. There is a badminton court, table tennis, gym, cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and many other things. There is a student center and an Amul center where you can have some food stuff.

Admission

You have to qualify to jee mains to get admission into NSUT... For admission, you have to apply for jack counselling The whole admission procedure is a headache .... all things are online .....a small error during counselling can be a big blunder....so stay active during your counselling and admission Reservations are also available for sc/St/obc/EWS ....also there is an 85% Delhi state quota and 15% for outside Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More

I wanted Computer/IT which I was getting in NSIT. Also it was close to my house so that was a plus. Admission process was simple. Apply on josa website and select your branches and wait for the results.
