Course Curriculum Overview

There are two Midterms after every two months, then after these two mid terms, there is the final semester exam. The 2 midterms are easy to pass but the semester exam is difficult compared to these mid exams

Placement Experience

Yes, there is the campus placements in our college, speaking of my branch Mechanical this year 3 to 4 companies visited such as Tata group and JSW for the core companies, and for software engineering, there are many companies visiting every year. The highest package of our college is 14 lakhs per year. My plan after getting my degree is to go for post-graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for one year are somewhat near 1.5 lakhs. If some person is having scholarship then the fee decreases to 1 lakh or 50 thousand based on the caste. I got the post-matric scholarship from Maharashtra DBT.

Campus Life

There are various types of social groups clubs and websites formed by the students and as well as teachers some of them are automobile clubs for mechanical engineering students and many more are base upon the branch

Admission

I had given first Maharashtra CET, then after the result, I applied to the cap round in the CET Cell. I had not got a proper college in the first round, then I applied to the second round then I got into this college. The cut-off of this college for Mechanical was 55 percentile.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
