Shiv Nadar University

I applied for sunset i.e. the university's entrance exam. The level of the exam is really easy than the normal jee exam. The application can be found on shiv Nadar University's official website

Chose this course because interested in programming. There is a total of 120 students divided into two sections of 60 each. There are two-term exams with 3 to 4 quizzes in the entire semester. Moderately difficult to pass

The students are on their own when it comes to internships. You can apply to various companies but the CDC department will surely help you to frame your emails and resumes. Students have got an internships in Google, HCL, and other companies

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Avg placement for computer science 15Lpa. Highest placement 60Lpa (BTech Computer science student). Various companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HCL, and many more visit the college during the placement season. The placement record is 100% for computer science students

The fees increase every year for the new fresher students. There are scholarships for students below the poverty line and from some specially selected schools. Also if you have a reasonable rank in jee main or advanced you can apply for scholarships. There are on-campus jobs available for students after the first year.

The annual fest of the college is called breeze and is conducted in March. Also, there is a sports fest called surge. There is a huge number of societies/clubs in the college ranging from dance, photography, horse riding, golf, drama, cooking, and many more. The indoor sports complex has a built-in wooden flooring basketball court and badminton court and table tennis. There is a huge library with books from almost all genres. The campus itself provides pretty much everything. So the outline is pretty dull. There are several malls but you will have to travel there by cab.

The hostel is mandatory for every student in the college. The rooms are average sized not suffocating, there is proper ventilation in the rooms. The washrooms in the facility are below average as they are common fir every student. The food provided in the dining hall is actually nice when compared to other college's and there is variety of dishes you can choose from.
