Awesome college life

College management isn't that good. They are reluctant to make any changes. They just want to hung to the old-school way of running colleges

I scored 728/960 in keam and got a rank of 236,joined mechanical branch.From my childhood i had a passion to mechanics and that lead me to get trivandrum

Since I am a first year aspirant i haven't gone through much of the academic section but till everything has been gone fine and the classes are very good i haven't much experience about the intern ships and placement sections but my seniors told that it is far better

I dont think the college offers internship. Most of us had to go to companies outside and try for internships.

Multinationl firms and Indian Maharatna companies were so enthusiastic about coming and recruiting students from CET. We had a super enthusiastic placement committee as well, who helped the companies to reach our college for placements talks. They were keen to help the junior students in getting trained for placement exams, group discussions and interview.

CET got a very beautiful campus with separate men's and ladies hostel. It got its own Akeshya lawn called the "Lovers Forest". An am-phi theatre, a main canteen, civil canteen, sports complex, cricket ground etc etc are some for the campus amenities. I used to dance for almost all cultural programs. There were gym and badminton court inside the sports complex. People used to play table tennis as well

The college fee structure is really feasible as it's a government college. It's about 9000 rs per year including everything. The major part goes for the university fee. The college fees for reserved categories are free. It's quite feasible for the communities.

The scholarships availed by the students here are mostly by the government and other organizations. The college just acts as a medium of support. Like egrants and all. Also there are lots of scholarships to be availed by students out of lack of knowledge.

The campus is quite beautiful and peaceful. It is quite nice to roam around the campus at all times. As there are numerous trees in the campus. It's quite nature friendly. The sea ratio is quite 1:1 as there are lots of students from both sexes. Numerous diversities in religion still students go in harmony and good friendships

The hostel facilities in the Men's hostel of CET is quite good. Spacious rooms for two people. And ample electricity and water for personal purposes. Also the architecture is quite a feat for our personal comfort. The mess is run by the students itself leaving it to have good food with l feasible mess bill.

The CETAA is quite a helpful alumni association as they have let a lot of programs to run smoothly with proper funding. But still it is quite poor compared to other colleges.

There used to be university semester exams which happened once in 6 months, during every semesters. Apart from that internal marks were calculated based on the performance in series examination, which used to be conducted twice a semester and the attendance percentage.

I had been admitted through centralised allotment process by the commissioner for entrance examination it was little bit easy and I had gone through the counselling quite comfortably Every notification was made through the online portal of the cee and admission via the college

The faculty has been really good CET is a reputed college in kerala and they are said to have good faculties. But after a year and half there are teachers who come out of the passion of teaching and some who come to do it as a side business. Faculties are poor considering the college status.
