Remarks
The admission process is very easy. I came with WBJEE Rank, first, you have to apply for Wbjee or jee mains before the exam and result. according to your rank, you are eligible for admission through counseling. you have to get min 60 marks in 10+2 then you can take admission. You can apply from the Wbjee website with an application fee of 500 rupees. no reservation is available for outside students, but if you are from west Bengal then you have some reservations.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very interesting and the faculty teaches all the things very clearly way. Most of the faculty has Ph.D. degrees. I choose this course because I am very interested in construction, and the planning of structures. total 28 faculty in our department with 12 lab assistants and a total of 450 student in our department. the exam is somewhere difficult but if you attend class then it is not too hard.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships and also some government internships are offered by colleges and stipends are offered by private companies only. The government company does not provide any stipend. The outcome of the internship is to clear all doubts and also the chance to implement all theories in the field.
Placement Experience
Placement is well more than 90 percent of students are placed in this college. if you do not get placement the college will give you 1 year extra for your placement. After the end of six-semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies visit our college some of them are Adani group, JSW group and many more. More than 150 companies visit the campus. my plane is for UPSC civil service.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very low, the fee for the semester varies from semester to semester from 40000 to 44000. There is a scholarship provided by the college if you do very well in academics. Also, some scholarship is provided by the government. There is no hike policy in the fee structure.
Campus Life
Life on the campus is very enjoy and good, you can live a good college life on the campus. There are many social life clubs and good. Some of the clubs are Samerpan, HIT inside, HIT Times, and many more. There are two playgrounds and one indoor game ground and gym. The Aryabhata central library is one of the biggest college libraries in west Bengal. all the books and journals are available here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very good there are two hostels for 1st-year students, two hostels for 2nd-year students and two hostels for third-year student, and one for 4th year. There is a 24x7 guard and warden available in the hostel. meal quality is nice you have every option for your daily meal. nearby many pg is also available.
