Remarks

The individual had to give a joint entrance examination main and perform well then after the result declaration, he/she has to apply for joint admission counseling to get admission to Delhi colleges (DTU, NSUT, IIIT-Delhi, IGDTUW). the application form and details are available on their official websites. Also, there is a reservation for Scheduled caste/scheduled tribes, OBCs, GEN-EWS, and girls.

I chose this course because I want to do engineering in computer science and I have loved mathematics a lot since childhood. The faculty is outstanding. they are always approachable and help us. In our batch student ratio is significantly less but in our junior batch girls' reservations increased to 5-10%. So yes it improves a little bit. some faculties are IITIAN and some of them have done Ph.D. from the best colleges. Also, they have a very high experience in teaching. there were two types of exams mid-semester and end-semester. you have to study 1 week before mid-semester to score good marks and 2 weeks before the end-semester. simultaneously class tests and practicals were conducted but they are easy. Also, the mid-semester lasts for 1 week and the end-semester was last for 2 weeks.

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies for on-campus hiring interns. there are around 40+ companies for hiring interns. students have to clear their online assessments to get shortlisted for interviews and there are generally 3-4 rounds of interviews.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements, and from the 5th sem onwards on campus. Internship opportunities are also there. There are around 200-250 companies come to our campus for hiring students. Almost 80-85% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of 8.40 lakh for the complete course. and approx. 2.25lakh per year. and there is a hike of 7-8% each year. There are various scholarship programs to apply for financial assistance. 1 from the Delhi government i.e. merit cum means at the e-district portal and the other is from college i.e. CVSPK.

Campus Life

There were two cultural fests one is inter-college i.e Moksha and the other is intra-college i.e. resonanz and there is one more fest. i.e technical fest (innovation). there is one library in which you can issue any number of books for the sem and return it. sports are also promoted in our college. there were inter-college competitions were organized each year. Also, there is one cricket ground, one football ground, 4 volleyball courts, and 2 basketball courts. indoor games were also played. there are 42 societies including cultural and technical societies.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

I applied for Dtu also and I was getting electrical engineering there and also in NSUT.But considering the distance I choose Nsut over Dtu as I live in Uttam nagar. The Hidden Truth of NSUT

The reason why I chose this college is a bit of personal reason. My two years of hard work didn't pay off well and I didn't want to go to a pvt college, I had made up my mind for that. I was also getting the same branch ICE in BITS too , but due to the reason that it is far away from my home was a bit challenging for me. Also I was getting ECE in Thapar but it was rejected it as the fee is really high. For NSUT, you need to give the JEE mains exam, and after that fill up the JAC counselling. For BITS we have BITSAT exam in which there are two attempts and the best of two counts. Similarly it has its own counselling. For Thapar , you can get admission on the basis of BOARDS score and JEE Mains score as well. The admission process is not that difficult , everything is online , from the fee payment to choice filling. But once the seat is alloted in a particular branch, you need to appear physically the the desired college, in which all the documents will be examined. If you fail to do so or if there is any disperency in the documents , seat will be cancelled immediately. So fill all the required details carefully....Read More
