10+2 students can give jee mains exam to get admission into VNIT and also your category rank also fulfilled the need of VNIT. Home state students get a little bit of benefit and also sc/st students can get admission on less percentile.

In today's world, we use electronics and communication everywhere. Also after computer science, branch electronics branch has the highest placements. A sufficient number of faculties, all are having Ph.D. in their field. Term exams are moderate.

In 5th semester companies visit for internships and offered good stipends as well but their test and interviews are a little bit hard. Texas, oracle, etc. visits. Your resume should have some projects and you can also mention some ranks of yours.

From 7 semester placements starts. Companies like Jio, TCS, Bharat electronics, Texas Instruments, etc. visit. This year's highest package is 64k from oracle and the average is 11k. 90 % of students get placed.

For SC/ST students academic fees are very low it is about 9000 and hostel mess fees will be the same for everyone like 80000 per year. A loan facility is also available on campus and there are many scholarships also.

Aarohi is the cultural fest and axis is the tech fest both are conducted between December to February. The library is available on campus. Inter NIT sports competition is there every year. Many clubs are there like octaves, Halla bol, etc.

In the room, you will get a table, bed, chair, locker, and LAN facility. Mess food is also good. One can register for a hostel at the start of the semester. If you are taking a hostel you should also register for the mess.
