For getting admission in COEP everyone has to give MHCET exam as it is very popular and old college it's cutoff is so high. It's campus is so beautiful and campus life is interesting. As it is an autonomous institution it's exam level is little hard than others. COEP is now become technological University from 2022. When I took admission i required 160 marks in cet exam for civil branch if you get 175+ marks then it is convenient to you to take admission in any branch including computer science branch. Now MHCET is giving percentile score so according to this you should have more than 99.2 percentile to take admission in COEP technological University. For admission you have to register on MHCET portal where you get college according to your score. Talking about reservation benefits as it is a government college it has all reservation benefits in cutoff marks and college fee also for SC, ST, OBC and all other cast having reservation. This is best college in all aspects having beautiful.

Course curriculum is same as savitribai phule pune University but question paper is set by faculty of that respective subjects. Depending upon faculty and subject difficulty may vary but it is difficult than pune University for sure. All the faculties are highly qualified means nearly about all are having their PhD from IIT Delhi, iit Bombay, and other reputed institution. Teaching of faculty is good I am not talking best but it is upto the level. Faculty students ratio is nearly about 1:20.

College of engineering pune offers internship chances for students of 3rd year. Companies visiting with internship offers are Goldman sach, axis Bank, ICICI bank and many more giving variable stipend between 25-100k.

College placement is very good as compared other government colleges. Average package is 7 lakhs per annum and highest package can vary to 25-35 lpa. Top companies visiting are Capgemini, Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture,L&T,ZS associates, mini orange and so many top companies giving nice package. Percentage of students having placement is nearly about 70-80%. placement starts from 7 th semester. College also provides internship after 2 year and 3 Rd year. Students not getting placed are doing Mtech, preparation of competative exams or finding offcampus jobs.

Annual College fee is 84000 for general category and 49000 for OBC category and very low for SC and ST candidates. This fee structure is upto 2022 now college is converted into technological University so there will be an hike in fee. You can have scholarship which will give benefits in fee. For general category students having income less than 8 lakhs can avail EBC scholarship and Panjabrao scholarship for living expenses from College. Placement is very nice in this college. Average package offered is 7 lpa. For computer science student package is so high they can have package upto 20-25 lpa. You have good chance to place in this college.

There are more than 30 clubs for students and all are run by students only. You can explore all your internal talent. Technical fest is held called "MINDSPARK " in the month of September all other college students come to campus to participate in this event. As also a beautiful cultural event "impression" held in the December month for those who want to showcase their talent. There is sports fest also called "Zest" in the January or February month.
