Entrance Preview

after PUC wrote CET and scored 12K rank with rural quota i opted for mechanical BE course. One of the better option I feel.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good. Mechanical faculty are good and very supportive. Labs are good. I was interested in mechanical course and as I had rural quota as well it helped me to get this college and pursue my dream. I strongly recommend if any one interested can opt for this

Internships Opportunities

No, I am not sure about it. But they'll help with option where we can do internships. As per my knowledge they won't provide

Placement Experience

During my tenure around 20+ company visited for campus selection. For software people almost 100 percentage of placement is guaranteed. But other stream people won't get so much companies of there dream. If interested any one can attend interview for software company as well

Exam Structure

As per VTU standards. Exams will be conducted in college only. For lab exams faculty from outside college will come and do exams. Since college was covered under VTU all exams were as per college standards only. VTU is Visvesvaraya technological university

Admission

Through CET Karnataka. Attended counseling held for CET. In CET I had 12000 odd rank and I was interested in mechanical course and as I had rural quota as well it helped me to get this college and pursue my dream. After opting seat in CET I paid college fee and joined.

Faculty

Very much supportive and guides better if we approach any one Very good. Mechanical faculty are good and very supportive. Labs are good. I was interested in mechanical course and as I had rural quota as well it helped me to get this college and pursue my dream. I strongly recommend if any one interested can opt for this

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Best location of college in the silicon valley of India

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

My honest review

I mainly choose this college because I felt our college offered more campus placements compared to colleges that I got selected into . I applied to every top colleges for courses such as CS ,IS and AI .But I was mainly aiming to get selected into Nitte Meanakshi Engineering college, SIT institute of engineering , DR Ambedkar Institute of technology, Acharya Institute of Technology , CMR UNIVERSITY . So First I got CMR college in first round , In second round of counsilling I got into Acharya institute of Technology, I though cuttoff would fall for 3rd round so waited for third round and got into Dr ambedkar institute of technology. I mainly aimed in getting selected into SIT college or Nitte Meanakshi college but cuttoff was higher compared to my Kcer rank . So I got rejected from those colleges .I think colleges I got rejected has more Internship and campus palcement compared to our colleges . I also heard SIT college has compulsory involvment of students in hachathon to attend placement classes . Admission process was simple , after i got selected into college I paid government fees through NEFT and brought the receipt and gave it to college where I also paid 12,000 rs towards college . Mainly students get into college but KCET or COMID-K exams . Generally kcet cuttoff was 18,000 for my cathegory and comidk cuttoff was nearly 20,000 . DR AIT (BLR) Pros and Cons

Colleges i applied were- 1. UVCE 2. BMSIT 3, PES Confirmed admissions were from PES Why i chose DRAIT- 1. It was close to my home like just 500 meters away 2 . Affordable since it had less fee compared to PES Rejections- I didnt get admissions in UVCE and BMS since my KCET rank was not eligible since cutoffs were to high. Admission process at Dr AIT- 1.
