Remarks

Good thing in our college is that the approach towards the practical knowledge rather than the theoretical one.Every sem we have to do projects that is also a plus point.Only drawback is the infrastructure of our college.

Entrance Preview

I gave JEE exam and scored 123 in it.I obtain this college at 1784 rank. I was interested in Mechanics and machines hence i preferred this course of Mechanical Engg.

Admission

Through DTE process I got admitted to this college.Firstly the merit list was out and we obtain our ranks.Accordingly our ranks we put the preferences of the state colleges and from our options we were allotted the college.I took admission in this college as the college has good reputation and I got the branch which I liked.

Except for VIT, Pune, I had applied to colleges like PCCOE, PICT and etc colleges located in Pune itself. My JEE rank was around 77000 or 91.12 percentile and my CET percentile was 96.4, so I couldnt get into PICT. Even if i wanetd to get into PICT, i was getting the EnTC branch, which i didnt want. The admission process included firstly of CAP round followed by SPOT round. The cutoff for various branches depends on the CET and JEE Merit rank/percentile that you have got and on the basis of that youll get the branches in CAP or SPOT round....Read More
