There is no bad words for Maulana Azad Medical College. It is very excellent and after entering in it, it proves why it is among top 10 medical colleges of India. Either academically and extra-curricular facilities, the Maulana Azad Medical College is among the best. I thing, no one will regret after getting admission in Maulana Azad Medical College.

I took Central Pre Medical Test (CMPT) to enter the college. I secured 20th position all over India. I opted for MAMC because of its Reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It has very good course curriculum for MD Pediatrics. There were 10 wards with separate sub specialty including intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, hemato-oncology, respiratory, and pediatric emergency. We were posted in each ward by rotation.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college had MBBS course and after MBBS examination, there is internship. Though, I did not do internship from this college as entered the college for PG course.

4.5

The Maulana Azad Medical College is multi faceted college. Along with studies, there are many events in the college. These include annual cultural festival, annual sports week and many more. There many programs for students of all categories: students, staff, faculty etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I entered Maulana Azad Medical College in 2003, the fee was very nominal. It was approximately Rupees five hundreds only for each semester. The fee was affordable by all students even if they are from poor family. Even, hostel charges were very minimal.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't remember any particular scholarship at Maulana Azad Medical College, but there was facility for book loans from library.

Campus Life

5

The campus life at Maulana Azad Medical College was excellent. There were shops of necessary items like stationary, computer etc were within the campus. In MD, there were almost equal ration of boys and girls at least in Pediatrics. The facilities for sports including swimming pool was available in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

There were plenty of hostel rooms available. We got hostel room within a week of admission to college. The hostels of Maulana Azad Medical College were very clean and maintained. It was on sharing basis initially but after 1st year, we got independent rooms. The mess food was tasty and very much affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

With the availability of Facebook and whats-app, almost all alumni are in contact with each other and help each other when requires.

Exam Structure

Examinations and labs were very chilled out. The examinations were very friendly. At Maulana Azad Medical College, examinations are held at the end of each semester. At each examination, there is theory and practical examination. These prepare the student for final examination.

Admission

It was through Central Pre Medical Test (CMPT) entrance examination. Forms were available at certain branches of Bank. I fill the form and took exam. In entrance eaxmination, I secured 20th rank all over India. After counselling, I got seat in this college.
