Remarks

If u take admission for 1st yr then u have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th. if u take admission for a direct 2nd yr then u have to complete a diploma in such a relative course. The admission process manages the MAHARASHTRA CET CELL & the admission form fill-up is an online process.

Course Curriculum Overview

every small thing are taken care of. the Academics is running in a proper manner. the professors I helpful and also takes initiative to help the student understand the concept in a better way, even during online classes. the lab in charge/faculties helps a lot during practicals to make things clear.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 108000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees are similar all year & don't Hike much more than 1K - 108k.cost to study is zero as everything is provided by the college that notes etc. the scholarship is provided according to their cast and the internship with a stipend for students who is capable and has relevant skills.

Campus Life

the annual faced name is MILESTONE and is held in November end of every year and conducted by the 3rd-year student. books and journals are provided by the college for 800 rupees per year. amenities like a blackboard projector and benches in decent condition. sports and many activities like badminton carrom soccer etc are held on the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
