Remarks

I didn't encounter any entrance exam to enter my college. I was planning to write the NEET exam so I skipped the first and second allotments, After the result was published for the NEET exam I changed my mind and applied for the supplementary Allotment. Even though I got calls from several colleges they were all far away from my home so the expense would get high so searched the web and found this college (Najath Arts And Science College) and joined under the management seat. The college runs under an orphanage for kids so the donation they asked for was nothing compared to other colleges (approx - 2000). So I gave the donation and joined the college in just 1 visit, Just filled in some paperwork, registered on their website, downloaded their app, and that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because my father wanted me to become a doctor but I hated physics, chemistry, and mathematics. So I found the one course that has none of the above and has some touch with the medical field. I am planning to take a Ph.D. so I can achieve the Dr title for my father. The college is a long building with 3 floors and each floor is considered as a year the college offers 3yr courses like BBA, BA, Bsc, Bcom, etc. So 3 classrooms from 1yr 2yr 3yr are considered a department. So there are more than 2500 students in that college considering the size and capacity of the college its good. Most of the teachers are extremely friendly but there will always be that one teacher who will be hard on their students. Their teaching level is amazing but there are exceptions. You can write a letter to the principal if you have any trouble with that he will solve it instantly. The timing of the exams was terrible as we all know about Calicut University exam schedules but they were perfect for me

Fees and Financial Aid

Most of the courses last for 3 years and there are PG courses that last two years in the 3-year course, you have 6 semesters and each of them costs an average of 11,000 may differ according to the course you choose. I haven't encountered any price hike in the fees to this date. They do not guarantee you any placement or scholarships but you will have the scholarships from the government every year. You can apply for that and if you are like...so below the poverty level you can always talk to the management about the fees and adjustments as they run under an orphanage for kids

Campus Life

4

You will get at least 50-70 programs a year under departments, political parties, college programs, etc. There is a library which contains about 5000 books in the college. There are servants to clean and mop the floor so the classrooms are clean and have a fan, lights, and a camera. There is a ground on the campus and a PT trained who helps you in your training they also have a volleyball court, and there are several sports activities you can engage in. There is an app where you can evaluate a student on what she/he has achieved from attendance and marks to books he/she took from the library and vaccination he/she has taken. There is an Instagram page for the college run by the senior students every year the account will be given to the next batch who becomes seniors from the batch who pass out of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
