Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I had an interest in computer science even before entering college. Faculty: student ratio is 1:50, the Qualification of teachers is very high and they have a very good teaching method.

The placements at our college are decent, many MNCs come to our college for placement but the average package is not very high, even though they give special training to students for placements in the name of TPP.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is you have to pay fees per semester, and you have to pay a fine if you pay the fees a little late, The cost to study at CGC is not a little amount but I think it is worth it.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very good, we have a good social circle in college. We have various clubs on the college campus like an anime club, chess club, dancing club, etc. The infrastructure of the campus is very large and very good.

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Life at CGC Landran

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak.That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
