Remarks

Students are admitted on the basis of Jee-Mains score and the average cut-off for the general category is 120000( for CSE ). The admission process is very smooth, everything is online and you don't have to do anything as long as you have all the necessary documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is moderate i.e. neither good nor bad. They do their job but don't expect anything extraordinary. Exams are on time and not so difficult to pass if you study a little. Teachers are well qualified but don't put in the effort.

Placement Experience

There are many companies which visit every year for placements like Tech Mahindra, etc. The average package for a CSE student is rs 5 lakhs per annum. As for other branches, I don't have any idea about their offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not so much as compared to other government colleges. They also provide a full scholarships to SC/ST students i.e. they only pay rs.1 for their entire semester fee. They also provide scholarships to OBC students.

Campus Life

There are various fests and tech fests conducted every other month like the zonal youth fest in March and sports events in September. Almost all sports are available like Football, Cricket, Boxing, Basketball, tennis, etc

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good enough. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Wifi is also provided and it's very affordable at a price of only 8800 per year which also includes 2000 security money. The food is also good.

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

My college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.

I took a drop so i had no other option left with my JEE rank only this state government college was offering me a chance to pursue a Btech degree , So I took admission over here without any second thought and honestly dont regret it , I couldnt expect more on that rank honestly . Well being a student from Jammu and Kashmir, we enjoy some special scholarship schemes like PMSSS. To get good Universities through this scheme you need a score of more than 85% in your 12th boards (state/CBSE/ICSE). You will find the application online onthe PMSSS aicte site. Registration is free and you must have a family income of less than 2 lakhs per annum.
