Campus - campus is very huge with lots of tree and parks to sit on , lots of dogs , cats and sometimes even deers on campus ....
24 hours reading hall .... The reading all is Fully air-conditioned and heated and run for 24 hours all day .. with a good environment to study
Sports complex - university's sports complex is very good with all the equipment available and lots of sports .... Even the pool is provided to students for swimming ...... Highly affordable and very good

Dislikes

Placement cell isn't that great they just don't interact with students as they should
Girls boy ratio the ratio is like 3:1 which is okay but needs quite an improvement
Many students of other colleges around the university created nuisance in university

Course Curriculum Overview

A bit irrelevant but gets the job done Some aspects of the curriculum is bit old for today's tech and syllabus but rest of the curriculum is upto date and provides top relevance to the real world needs

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are given to students in 3rd year intrested student can also get internship off campus Companies like Google Microsoft Facebook Amazon usually comes with internship opportunities

Placement Experience

Most of the students are well settled offline the placement cell is also good and helps the students to land a job Anyone above 7cgpa is fit to apply for jobs Almost 60 percent of the students will land the job on campus Me personally I'm looking to pursue my higher studies abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the course without any scholarship is 85000 per year There are many scholarships for sc and st students which reduces the fee to a very small amount You can also prevail sports quota And also university will provide scholarship on your performance But there's really less opportunities for scholarship to general and EWS students

Campus Life

University hosts many fest in a year inviting celebrities government officer chief justice and vice president as a chief guest Social life in university is great Transport facilities are available within the university With lots of club like dance club art club etc Sports complex is top notch in our university featuring 100+ sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is highly affordable with good food Menu changes once every 3 week If you live more than 50km away from the university you can apply for hostel Hostel fee is around 17k in which 5500 is the security fee which is refundable

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Campus here is way better than any other All the necessities are easily accessible as it is located in the main city rather than rural area The PGI hospital is literally next door to our university so in case of any emergency it is a great thing to have

Faculty

The faculty are highly trained and professionals and support students in all the scenarios The faculty ratio is around 1:10 There are total of 3 types exams taken In 1 semester - sessional 1, sessional 2 (15 marks each ) And semester exams Course curriculum is a bit irrelevant but gets the job done

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

From the seventh semester students are eligible for placements, average package must be around 6 lpa and for my branch this year it is 12 lpa which has increased shockingly as it was decreasing from the past 7-8 years

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

My college is the best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.

I took a drop so i had no other option left with my JEE rank only this state government college was offering me a chance to pursue a Btech degree , So I took admission over here without any second thought and honestly dont regret it , I couldnt expect more on that rank honestly . For admission process is quite simple you have to fill the form of hstes counselling and the catch here's that you wont even get chemical branch here in online councelling but hold your tea and attend the physical councelling of the college , details of which will be shared in its official portal , in the offline councelling you will get a way better branch....Read More

Well being a student from Jammu and Kashmir, we enjoy some special scholarship schemes like PMSSS. To get good Universities through this scheme you need a score of more than 85% in your 12th boards (state/CBSE/ICSE). You will find the application online onthe PMSSS aicte site. Registration is free and you must have a family income of less than 2 lakhs per annum.
