Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum, while not extremely old, hasn't been updated in a while and lacks alignment with current industry trends. As a result, it falls short in terms of relevance and fails to fully prepare students for the demands of today’s job market.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are also very less so the students have to apply for internships off-campus too.Very less students got an internship through a college placement cell, but some students have put extra effort to grab opportunities from outside college.
Placement Experience
Placements at our college are not very strong, with no big companies visiting the campus. Mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro are the main companies that visit, offering packages around ?3-4 lakh per annum. Students typically become eligible for placements in the 7th semester, but the percentage of students getting placed is relatively low. If I am not placed through campus drives, I plan to pursue off-campus opportunities, aiming for better prospects in MAANG companies or startups to gain some experience and apply for big companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the B.Tech CSE at UIET MDU, Rohatak is as follows: Year 1: ?45,512(Semester 1) ?43,512(Semester 2) For next consecutive year like 2nd, 3rd and 4th the fees structure remain same as first year. Additional facilities provided by the institution (such as Gym, Swimming pool etc.) have their separate Charges like 500RS per month for Gym etc. Total Course Fees: 3.60L - 4.50L RS Fee Increases: It depends on University they can increase or decrease Fees.
Campus Life
The events from the activities such as Diwali Fest, Pharmacy Day, and others are organized, with extra-curricular activities like sports week. The faculty members work in coordination with the students to make the events successful. The sports events that occur include cricket, volleyball, chess, tug of war, and more. Unfortunately, there are no clubs or social groups for the students. Student portal works mainly to obtain fee submission and logging details.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good for first year students but in second or above year hostels, that we get are not good or you can say average. Wifi is available in each hostels and they allow to use 20 GB of data per week. Mess food are also decent. Sweeper clean Toilet and hostel every day. You have to pay RS 2500-3000 for mess charges every month according to your diet and RS.20000 for Hostel charges annually. Each hostels have their own mess facility. There are around 11 boys and 9 Girls hostel in campus.
Admission
I have no other option than this because I got very low rank in JEE mains exam and My family financial condition are not good that i can take admission in private colleges and main thing that i choose this college is that i got CSE branch in it.
Faculty
The faculty at UIET MDU, ROHTAK is experienced, approachable, and maintains a strong faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1:50, promoting a positive learning environment. The course structure balances theory and practicals, with updated, industry-relevant subjects. Exams, including mid-terms and finals, are moderately challenging, and the marking scheme combines written exams(75 Marks), practicals(25 Marks), and internal assessments(25 Marks). While most subjects are current, some could use updates to stay in line with industry trends.
