Remarks

Getting into Engineering inside JNU is similar you have to qualify for JEE mains then in JOSAA or CSAB round you have to select it. After getting to the college you have to visit its website, where there is information about the faculty of the institute which is related to JOSAA, which helps you to give information about things that are needed for physical verification and its date. Then on this proper date, you have to come and complete the whole process. Sometimes communication is slightly poor from the institute you need to be active most

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I get into this course because of my rank and because of my University ranking. There are 63 students in a class and the ratio of faculty and students is about 1:15 around. Faculty are quite achievers in there own field ( JNU takes only those faculty that have years of experience and published research). Exams are mostly on time and the difficulty of the paper depends upon the faculty who teaches some of it is quite hard and some are also simple.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

TCS summer internship (20000 per month) Tata 1 mg internship PayPal internship And different Web development internships with stipend of 5k to 35 k per month) And there are more like one of the students get Salesforce internship with stipend 40 k rupee per month etc

Placement Experience

3.5

We have both 5 years of integrated courses and 4-year B.tech courses so if you have taken the exit option then you are eligible for placement at end of the 3rd year and for the integrated one you are eligible for the 4th year. Since the school itself has created in 2018 mostly students opt for higher education and those who are placed at least get more than 7 lakh pa. I am pursuing to get MS courses

Fees and Financial Aid

First of all, there is a huge benefit for the students who are financially back means there are fees criteria based upon your family income ( 6000 per sem for a student whose family income is less than 100000 per year and 20000 for those whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakh.)

Campus Life

4

Actually, JNU has more than 13 schools and centers each of them has there own fest and they are conducted in a different month if you want then you can also join one of them. The classroom facilities are good. Sports is somewhat lacking in JNU but we have our stadium each hostel has there own badminton and basketball courts. There are many clubs present like mountains club, Loop web development club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Most of the hostels are good. Each one of them has a mess and canteen itself. Each room has two beds and two tables and in some of the hostels, you get table lamps also. Meal depends upon which hostel you live and the menu is different in each hostel. The registration process for an engineering student is not difficult to compare to other schools.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.
