Remarks

The admission process is merited-wise means according to the 12th percentile and there was no entrance exam in 2021 at the University of Delhi. I have taken a bcom programme course at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College and on that, I have been admitted with 87.5 per cent with the best four subjects in the special drive 1 cutoff list. I am in the EWS category. The cutoff is very high in that year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I belong to the commerce background and also I want to do Chartered accounting so I have chosen this course. The faculty of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is very good, they are very friendly and helpful in nature. The student ratio is equal. There are two-semester exams in one year.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is good according to the fee structure means the rate of return is very high according to the fees. The students are eligible for the placement from the 5th semester. Various companies visit colleges like Delloite, KPMG, EY, Bank of America, etc. The highest package is 20 lakhs and the average is 5 lakhs around 20-25 % of students get placed every year and most are from bcom.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is 10000 per year for the bcom programme course which is quite affordable for the students. The college also provides scholarships for the students and gives various schemes like a Financial support scheme. The campus placement of the college is also quite good according to the fees means the rate of return is very high according to the fees.

Campus Life

My life at the college campus is superb. In college, there are various societies like creador, Sanghkriti, NSS, NCC, anukriti, etc. and they organise various competitions and programs and fest also every year. The college has Library but books are fewer according to the students. The classroom condition is good. College has a tennis court and a basketball court and table tennis also and a quiet large field also

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

Placement Experience:

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
