Remarks

The admission process was quite easy. Just to reach the college on admission time. Show them the WBJEE/JEE result. They will give you the branch options. Select & get admitted. The application forms will be available at the accounting office. No reservation is required for taking admission. Yearly fees were 80,00,000/- per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electrical Engineering. The faculty size was good. In a class, there was a strength of 40 students. All branches have 2 sections. The faculty was qualified If anyone was coming outside of west Bengal then they would face language issues in the class. The term exam was conducted on time. The exam was quite easy to clear.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, we have our placement. Many companies visited like Amazon, Pinnacle, Byjus, Extramarks, Just dial & many others. The highest package was 10LPA from BYJUS. 30 % of students got placed. I moved to Hyderabad for my first job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of the course was around 350000. I am from Bihar & at that time we have a scholarship running in Bihar. From that, I got 15000 per year as a scholarship. I was not placed in any campus drive but I sat in each of the opportunities.

Campus Life

We have our annual fest in December. Tech fest in September of every year. We use to take our books from the library only. All books were provided by the college only. the library was quite big. We have a big sports ground in the college. You can search college groups on FB.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
