Honest review of Techno International Batanagar

I took the admission through qualifying WBJEE and the counselling process. Cut-off the rank for this course was near about 14000. The counselling fee was 5000, which has to pay during online counselling. All other formalities were filled in college on spot. I have availed Tuition fee waiver (TFW), which can be availed at the choice filling time of counselling if anyone from an economically backward class.

I choose this course because I was passionate about that course. The faculties are qualified enough, but few of them are from IITs. They tried their level best to clear every topic to students and rest up to students. Yes, the faculty is less as compared to the students but till now I can't face any problem due to that reason. The exams are scheduled by MAKAUT, semester exams, and continuous assessments.

There are very few companies that give internships to students through college. Most of the students of my college, who get the internships, got this in their study and assessment. Till now, I have not tried, and even so, I can't more clarity on it.

From the sixth semester onwards, placement is started on campus. I do have no exact idea of companies and offers as I am only a second-year student of the college but one can find all relevant details on the college website. More than 60 percent of students get placed every year to my knowledge. I plan to get a job with an adjustable stipend after getting a degree either on campus or off campus.

The total fee structure for this course is 484000, but due to my TFW availability, for me it is 61000 for total 4 years. Anyone can access any kind of government or private scholarship or scheme if he/she is eligible. Also, the college provides scholarship based on their criteria. Various companies recruit from campus and the stipend is in the range of 3LPA to 30LPA.

After reopening after Covid, no fest has been arranged till now. But the hackathon and project competition (PRAYAS) took place this year in April and June this year respectively. Various books and magazines are available in the library either in hard copy or in form of e-books. Annual sports, football competitions, and various pujas( like Saraswati puja, Vishwakarma puja, and Ganesh puja) take place every year. Also, blood donation camps, yoga camps, and tree plantation camps take place every year on campus.
