The admission process is quite easy, one can get into Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology, Wadala through entrance exams such as MH-CET or JEE. It's a 4 years course, and to be eligible for it you need to complete your HSC, Diploma students can get admission in the direct second year of engineering. And yes one can avail of the reservation benefits as well, in that case, you won't need to pay the whole fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are really friendly and helpful, there it is not the case that teachers will come, teach and go. They make efforts to make learning easy and fun, and they give attention to every student in the class. Most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D., they are highly qualified and experienced. Engineering as we know is a difficult course, but the quality teaching of the professors and the printed notes they provide makes it easy to prepare for the exams.
Internships Opportunities
You won't find any lack of opportunities for you to do internships. Professors who are in charge of internships will keep sending you different internship opportunities and you can grab them easily. When I was in 4th year, we did an in-house internship of 1 month under the guidance of our professors. So not just companies, the college itself comes up with internship projects for you to work on.
Placement Experience
4th-year students are eligible for campus placements, if your goal is to get into a good company after college you don't have to worry about it because college has a separate placement cells, that will help you to get the dream job.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the average fee for engineering is 6.03 Lakhs. The fee structure as per the category is as follows: Open - 136080 / yr, OBC - 74799 / yr, Reserved category other than OBC - 13517 / yr, TFWS - 13517 / yr.
Campus Life
So the first time I visited the college, I felt like I was in the mall. I was getting all happy and energetic vibes there. The campus is awesome, it provides a great environment for students. There are a lot of student committees you can join, I joined Biomedical Student Association as Publicity head. I suggest to participate in such committees, it's a lot of fun and you get to learn a lot. College fests and technical fests are not less than any festival over there. You will get the scope to grow not just in academic areas but also in extracurricular activities.
