Remarks

The admission process is simple. You have to fill out the mhtcet exam form. Through that, you can able get into this college. The cutoff for my year was the 78 percentile in mhtcet exam. So you can get into this college easily. If you have allowed this college through mhtcet then you can able to avail reservations benefits few of them as follows Ews =67000, OBC=67000, SC/ST=2000, TFWS=20000, NT=20000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are good and they cooperate with you in your studies if you have any idea to make the college curriculum more exciting then they are ready to accept. For each subject, there is a minimum of 2 teachers. Most of the faculty members are Mtech qualified and few are Ph.D. holders. And in view of exams, they carry some practice to make students to ready for the final exam. And I have chosen this course because I am enthusiastic about machines. I love to work with machines.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

The college in terms of placements is OK. The highest package one student has got is 12 lakhs I know it is less compared to other colleges. But the average package of our college is around 4 lakhs. And there are many companies visiting our college. Some of them are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Morgan Stanley, and many more. After I will complete my degree I will be looking for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college are affordable but there is so many scholarships opportunity such as EWS, OBC, SC, and ST this caste reservation is there in college along with TFWS which are for only those students who are in 5% of top students. If you want an internship with a stipend then you have to apply from outside of the college because the college doesn't provide this. And those who want to avail of reservations scholarships then there parents' income should be less than 8 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our college, I will list down a few of them. Google developers club, Robotics, Aero club, And many more. You can join these clubs and enjoy your college life along with your studies. The Library also has an ample amount of books most of the books are subject-related. The capacity of the library is also sufficient. The campus of this college is not that big. It has only one tall building of 9 floors so you have to compromise in this case. Every classroom has projectors with benches of high quality.

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
