Remarks
First one has to qualify jelet exam with less than 300 ranks and also passed a Diploma in any engineering stream with mathematics in higher secondary. sc/st seats and state quota is there. Application fees are so much less than other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has a better future in the industry. Faculty: student ratio is 1:10. All Faculty are Ph.D. qualified and they are very helpful. There is theory part is maximum, and practical is also their w.r.t. subjects. Exams happen in the 1st week of December and 1st week of May.
Internships Opportunities
Tata steel, Amazon, Jindal, and other so many companies come here for giving internship opportunities with a minimum of 2000/month to a maximum 1.5 lakh/month stipend. So many projects with training are also provided for a better experience.
Placement Experience
Before the final year, students are eligible for college campus placement. So many companies like GOOGLE, AMAZON, FLIPKART, TATA STEEL, JINDAL STEEL, etc are visited and up to 90% placement is given to eligible students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 2500 to 3000 per year. Study cost is low in Jadavpur approx 6000 to 7000 per month in PG, and also lower in the hostel. Some scholarships are provided like SVMCM, OASIS, NSP Portal, Free Student Scholarship, kanyashri, etc.
Campus Life
There are so many clubs for helping young people, like Dancing clubs, music clubs, etc. There is also a department library and a central library on campus. There is a big playground on the campus where football, cricket, badminton, and basketball players are.
