My IIIT Una experience

To opt for this course you have to give the Jee mains and apply for the JOSAA counselling. You can avail Reservation benefit for this instititue but reservation will be applied on the genral rank achived in the Jee mains exams(not the reservation category rank).

I chose the electronics and comm. course in this institute because it is an institute of national importance and has good faculty with most of them having a PHD or masters with several years of teaching experience. The term exams are always held on time as per the academic callender it the question asked range from easy to mid with some tough questions and it is fairly easily to pass the exams.

Companies like Amazon, publicis sapients and Jio have come with the SDE intern position with Stipend ranging from 25000 to 50000. The companies took OA rounds and Interviews before selecting the candidates.

The placement has been quite good scince the opening for our own campus with the avg salary of 11 LPA and highest upto 45 LPA. Companies like Jio, Amazon, Delloite, Infosis, Publicis Sapients etc. have come for hiring full time as well as intern. The percent of student placed who opted for placement are 100 percent.

The academic fee for our batch if 1L per semester and the cost is a little high as compared to the study they are providing. I have not availed for any scholorship but the college helps in providing Scholorships both its own and state based scholrship it also heps in providing eduction loan from sbi .

With the opening of our own campus the campus life has been improved a lot with great sports equipment and fields, many clubs are also their like photography club and event manegment club,. We have our own Anual(Mridang), sports(Yalgar) and tech fest(miraki) every year in the month of september. there is a library in the college the classroom is comfortable and is equiped with projector - screen and a black board.

Hostle is quite good with basic aminities like bed, fans and almira, a chair and table are also provided to study. you can register for the hostle after you take admission with a fairly easy process. The hostle fees is 35000 per semester. The food provided here are better than other colleges mess.
