Remarks

10+2 passed, MHT-CET exam, The fees for the form are around 200, and it happens once a year in. Speaking of improvements, I would say there should be more seats for the general category as their cut-off is high. Infrastructure and placement are quite below average.

I choose I.T because I was into programming and stuff since the 11th. Some teachers are actually good but most of them are really strict, they r pursuing Ph.D. and students are making projects for them. Most of the teachers are Engineers. not difficult to clear exams, sometimes invigilators are strict.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees are better compared to other colleges in Navi Mumbai like terna, and fees should not be an issue coz there is ebc scholarship. I didn't get a job, I m in 3rd yr. Though I am searching for a job. I also wanted a scholarship but I was not eligible for that and here only average companies come for placements.

Campus Life

many events take place. But if you are interested in events, terna is better. there are books in the library, but nobody reads them. though you can also get the books issued. there is no scope for sports. There's a badminton court except that there's not even a ground. We don't have any team in any sports. The college also have groups and clubs for the students welfare.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
