Jamia an inspiration

I had completed my intermediate with science stream having PCMB. I applied for Jamia millia islamia's entrance examination through the online portal of the university and cracked it to get admission to B.sc. Biotechnology course. In November 2020, First time, I visited Jamia's campus for my admission procedure in offline mode. I completed and submitted all my admission documents and formalities. It took a complete day for my admission procedure. The only difficulty I experienced during my admission procedure was that I had to go to so many offices for different-different work and the offices are very far away from one another so I had to walk a lot and this felt me very tired.

B.Sc. Biotechnology is a very good course for one who has an interest in both Biology and Technology. This course has 6 semesters of 6 months each. Due to COVID-19, I completed my 4 Semesters in online mode. My all faculty members had taught me in online mode through Google meet and also all internal and final semester examinations had taken place in online mode via open-book examinations in pen-paper mode. All the faculty members are very supportive and taught fluently. They used to help every student and also motivate everyone. All the faculty members had qualified and completed their Ph.D. And postdocs from IITs and universities abroad. Jamia's teaching method is awesome and exams are not too hard if prepared well.

As Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university. Its fee structure is nominal. BSc Biotechnology fee structure comprises Rs 7000 in 1st year, Rs 6800 for 2nd year, and Rs 6800 for 3rd year. Jamia gives an opportunity to every student for a scholarship named the JTA scholarship every year. Also, Jamia gives a scholarship to every first three toppers from every department every year.

Campus life is awesome, it is full of joy and excitement. Each and every department has its own fests every year. Like, my department has Biofest every year and also Biotlaks is organized every week to motivate students. Jamia's central library named Dr. Zakir Hussain's library is one of the largest libraries in India. We will find any book in the library. There is no book related to courses in Jamia which u will not get in Jamia's library. Classrooms are fully furnished and have projectors for digital classes. Every department has its own Library for book issuing and studying. Jamia has 3 different blocks having reading halls for students in which students are allowed to study from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM for all seven days a week. Jamia has so many clubs like a literary club, dramatic club, environment club, etc. It also has its own E-cell for entrepreneurship. Jamia has its own Sports complex named MAK Pataudi sports complex where one can play every game whether indoors or outdoors.
