Remarks

The eligibility was 12th percentile. The application form, fees, and dates are found on the Delhi university portal. Reservation benefits are different for different categories. Improvements in the admission process which I think there should be is an easier way to find every course and college during the time of cutoffs declared so that students can comprehensively choose their course and college.

I chose the course because I have an interest in social sciences subjects so I wanted to do further studies in that. There is a large number of students and the faculty is very good at providing accurate and informative knowledge to students. Their teaching method is very comprehensive for students. Every six months, term exams have been conducted, and if a student studies for the exam. It was not at all difficult to pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is not too much. The fees are affordable for middle-class families as well and every student can have access to this famous and authentic University. The students having a poor background and weak financial conditions could get financial assistance from the University and college authority itself.

Campus Life

There are fests organized in college annually. There is good availability of books and journals in the library required for the course. The sports and extracurricular activities are highly supported by the University and students get a chance to excel in their talent through those opportunities. There are many social groups and clubs for the betterment of students.

Worst decision ever

Placement Experience:

Personally, i have good amount of experience in the industry so i might just not need vollege placements. But fir the senior batch i think only a fee got placed but rest of the students are doing things personally.

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert,etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Top CUET scorers as during our time the cut off for our course was 773. Means getting 773 out of 800 which is a hard yard has to be cleared first. KIRORI MAL COLLEGE - INSIDE AND OUTSIDE LIFE

Admission in university of delhi colleges are done in the basis of COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM through which rankings and cutoffs are given . Students who meet the required cutoff are given admission in particular college keeping in mind his or her preferences . Great experience and exposure to college life.

There are very few colleges providing course of B.A hons geography in north campus and Kiori mal college is one of the best colleges of Delhi university. My first preference was Miranda house but i couldn't get in that due to my CUET score. The admission process is giving CUET exam and cut off for cuet score in DU is very high. Some colleges even have 799/800 cutoffs with also keeping your 12th marks in mind. Admission process is pretty easy you have to give cuet and then apply for the admission and then wait for the merit lists to come out which will automatically show on your portals .
