Remarks
The admission process typically consists of two ways, one being through CAP(Common Admission Process) and non-CAP or ILQ(Institute Level Quota) simply management seats. I was admitted through ILQ, visited the college during the last week of admissions verified all the documents, and filled out the admission form. Paid full fees at the same time to finish the admission process, I chose Electronics Engineering as my branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Electronics Engineering because it was one of the few choices I was left with as there was no seat in the IT or CS department. Electronics Engineering is a decent branch with less hectic compared to other branches. Faculty is decent some being good at teaching with a lot of experience whereas some faculty are decent.
Placement Experience
Campus placements start from the 7th semester although some companies start hiring through student programs from the 6th semester itself. All the major IT companies from TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, and so on visit the campus most of them virtually. They offer packages in the range of 4-7 LPA and select many students. Some companies such as Amadeus and Neilson IQ also visit the campus and they offer 12+ LPA. Almost the majority of the students get placed by the end of the 7th semester. My plans after getting the degree are to pursue a career in IT.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the first year was 155000 from 2nd year onwards it was 141000, fees include tuition fee, infrastructure fees, and development fees. The scholarship is provided for underprivileged students by the state government and can be availed during CAP rounds. I'm currently placed at 3 companies, Capgemini, Cognizant GenC Elevate, and LTI.
Campus Life
The campus is decent sized with canteens serving good food which makes a good hangout place with friends. Campus Life is good too with a lot of cultural and technical fests going on 2-3 times a year which are lot of fun to attend with your friends.
