The admission process is quite long and time-consuming. After the MHTCET results students have to wait for the new government admission portal which contains the schedule for the entire admission process. First, on the portal, it is required to submit our details, and documents required, and then we have to verify those documents in the nearest FC center. After which the first stage i.e application form filling is completed. Then CET CELL will release the official merit ranks. The options form filling is carried out, and around 3 rounds are conducted. Each round has a gap of around 10 days. Then after allotment to college, we have to visit the allotted college campus for admission and perform the formalities. As I am obc candidate I got reservation benefits for college fees. This is quite a hectic process I think form verification should be conducted online and the duration between rounds should be reduced.

As the IT industry is booming in India it is quite a relevant choice to go for CS and IT engineering courses. In my college VIIT, faculties are very good in nature, are supportive, helps in solving personal issues, and of course, are well trained. All facilities are holders of master's degrees in their specialized fields. Teaching in college takes place in hybrid mode i.e some lectures are conducted online and some in an offline manner. Exams are conducted on time even during the pandemic period all the academic activities were conducted on schedule.

Mostly companies offer Software developer, Testing, and QA roles. All the companies visited offer internship+ PPO opportunities. The internship stipend varies from 5000 to 25000, sometimes above 25000. Various faculties also offer industry-sponsored projects.

As my college is autonomous, the fee here is higher than at other colleges. For OBC it is around 93000 per year and for the open category, it is approx 160000. There is no hike in fee usually around 500 per year. The cost to study in Pune is average than most cities as compared to Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc. I have got a Maharashtra government post-matric scholarship for OBC. And coming to placement, the placement drive is going on and I hope to get placed through campus around year-end.

College life is very good on campus. Campus infrastructure is also good. The annual fest is conducted annually and it is quite an experience. Tech fest is also conducted many times a year. The library is quite large and the required books are always available. Classes are smart classrooms. Extracurricular activities are conducted many times each year like chess competitions, cricket, volleyball, badminton, etc. ERP sites are there for students in college.
