Remarks

Eligibility of the course is to qualify joint entrance exam then the application form you will find on the net, they will provide the number of application fees to be paid and the application dates. I have not got any reservation benefits but there are benefits. don't want to see any improvement in the admission process. thank you.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course over others Because it has so many fields in different sectors. our faculty members are too good and the student ratio is okay. the faculty members are well-qualified and their teaching methods are good. the exam was difficult to pass.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc offered many internships with a stipend, and roles were offered in different sectors as per quality. as I am in 2nd year don't know about the projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks.

Placement Experience

From the 5thbor 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements.TCS visited and offers were made. the highest package as per the company and profiles offered is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. my plan after getting the degree is to secure a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy and cost to study are okay. Swami Vivekananda is the scholarship that I got in my college and as I am in 2nd year I can't tell you about the financial assistance and job that I got on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

Esperanza is the annual fest and tech fest and the month in which they are conducted in April. availability of books and journals in the library is okay.art club, pep talks, and debate club are for students run by students.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
