Remarks

I took KEAM Entrance exam and got a good rank and applies to the college through the allotment available at ceekerela.net. The course available in the college are government courses therefore the tuition fee is at its minimum. You can also get in through ICAR Entrance Exam and by applying allotment at this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is 4 year course and it is divided into 8 semesters. It contains 5 departments with well versed faculties. The exams are conducted semester wise and it is easy to pass. All qualification for teaching was Mtech and above.

Class Size: 39Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise you have to pay an amount of around 10000 rupees. You will get scholarship based on Egrants and mcm. The course mainly provide government jobs. You have to pay fees semester wise. Otherwise fine will be there.

Campus Life

Annual fest tech fest all are conducted in the month of November - January. There are a lot of study material and books available in the library. Sports, arts and many extra caricular activities are done by students itsel.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.
