Remarks

Transportation to college is not good. 6km away from the college is railway station. college is situated in rural area so road is not good. It is one negative. Position includes many. Good infrastructure faculties labs etc are available

It is related to mechanization of agriculture. It includes soil water engineering also. Exam includes both theory and practical . Irrigation and drainage engineering includes in the curriculam. Otherthan this basic engineering course available

Various private company sectors in agriculture fields frequently held placements .Also job related banking have take graduates from here. Agricultural engineering have large salaries in gulf countries.

College Events

Various fests are held in college. Musical events also held. In each year technical fest are celebrated. All international days are celebrated. Music and dance are included in all programmes. Foodfest is celebrated.

Feasible. Fee is adequately and comparatively low and can afford. Fees per semster is about 7500 ruppees only. Total tution fee for 4 years only near about 60000. Also scholarships are available for merited students.

Through the exam called Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance exam. This exam is basic exam for the entrance in engineering college in kerala. Exam include physics chemistry mathamatics. Exam is comparatively easy

Well experienced teacher with good manners. All the facilities are like friends feel to contact with them. They're always trying to help in both educational amd sports activities. They try to encourage our talents

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

The course available in the college are government courses therefore the tuition fee is at its minimum.
