Remarks

In 2021 Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Exam (VET) was conducted, but now CUCET marks are evaluated for the admission procedure. You should have a bachelor's degree with mathematics as a core subject in all the 3 years to get eligible to apply for M.Sc. Application-related information is displayed on the university website. ggu.ac.in Reservations are as per the central govt. Rules.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a keen interest in exploring various fields of maths this is the reason for me to choose the MSc maths course. We have 17 teachers in our department and 60 students per batch from BSc and MSc. Limited seats are there for PhD students. The faculty members are highly qualified to have PhD in the subject they teach, They have many national as well as international publications. Term exams are according to the academic calendar released at the start of the session, the exams are not that tough to get through, you just need to be regular in class.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 9050 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is nominal costing around 9050 in the first year and around 7000 in the second year. Scholarships like Inspire, the Central sector scheme, and state scholarships for st/sc/Obc are provided. The student scoring maximum marks in school is awarded 1000 Every year, and one student having maximum marks in all the departments combined together gets a scholarship of 25000 While Dsw scholarship for single girl children, poor students and specially-abled students is also provided. Students having achievements in sports are also felicitated with dsw scholarships.

Campus Life

Tech fests are held in December month. The exterior infrastructure is very nice having dense biodiversity, but the interior of some buildings is not very good, they are old and need maintenance. The central library has all kind of books you wants and also every department has its own departmental library. Various clubs include Udaan (magazine), urchins drama society, Tarang college band, abhinartan dance group etc.

Placement Experience:

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Forensic science department review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many placement drives happening in college each month. As there are engineering departments here so there are no lack of placement drives. I have plan to clear UGC net exam to get into lectureship.

Remarks:

It is a very good university in Chhattisgarh. As it is a central university, so there are many facilities like a university bus, an International conference, etc. Teachers are very helpful. The University campus is also very good.

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.
